Alumni discount: BJU alumni receive an additional $100 discount off the final cruise price.

Cruise pricing starts at $3750 per passenger for double occupancy* (without air). Cabin pricing is determined by deck and category selection. Price includes $176 port charges. A $250 per person non-refundable deposit submitted at the time of reservation is needed to hold a cabin. Final payment is due on March 1, 2024.

2-Night Pre-cruise Package

This optional pre-cruise land package provides the opportunity to experience two of the most iconic old cities in Europe—Prague and Nuremberg.

The pre-cruise package includes two-night lodging at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in the Prague Old Town, a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, a guided city tour of the historical sites of Prague, motor coach transfer to Nuremberg, and a guided city tour of Nuremberg before boarding our cruise ship.

Cost:

$649 per person for double occupancy
$893 for single occupancy

Transfer from airport to hotel: $55 per person

Meals:

Included with package: Breakfast at the hotel; Dinner on Sunday at a local restaurant in Prague.
Not included with package: Lunch on Sunday and Monday; Dinner on Monday.

Optional specialty excursions will be offered for an additional charge.

Post-Cruise EXTENSIONS in Budapest

Passengers have several options to extend their stay in Budapest at the end of the river cruise. We have reserved 25 rooms at the Budapest Intercontinental Hotel—they are being held on a first-come basis. Pricing for optional excursions will be finalized early in 2024.

Option 1: Enjoy extra time in Budapest exploring the city on your own.

Departure either June 5th or June 6th

Upon request following the cruise, passengers will have the opportunity to extend their stay one or two nights at the Budapest Intercontinental Hotel (or similar). Enjoy and explore Budapest on your own, at your leisure, before flying home!

Although the regime was not as deferential to the Soviet Union, the collective economy and fear of the secret police shaped the lives of Hungarian citizens. This guided tour starts at a unique statue park on the outskirts of the city displaying the gigantic monuments of the Communist era, removed from the streets of Budapest after the collapse of Socialism in 1989-90. A travel into the heart of the Puszta, the great plains stretching from the Danube to Hungary’s eastern border, for an exciting full-day excursion to a real Hungarian city and a nearby horse ranch. The town of Kecskemét is the capital of the Hungarian Art Nouveau architecture, out of which probably the most impressive is the Town Hall. The "Town of the Golden Sand" has been the meeting point of merchants, different religions and cultures for centuries and now you can also take a quick look at its charming main square. After a short photo stop, we are heading to a horse farm. Enjoy a typical horse-drawn carriage ride, learn about the Hungarians’ inseparable connection to their horses over the past thousand years, and enjoy a daring and artful display of horsemanship during the mesmerizing equestrian show. Afterward, savor a tasty 3-course lunch of traditional dishes, accompanied by festive Gypsy music.
